Fox Motocross Helmet V3 RS Optical - Black

Fox has completely renewed its V3 RS motocross helmet. The foundation of the old V3 RS remains, but several innovations have been added. The result is the most technologically advanced motocross helmet ever developed by Fox. The V3 RS from Fox still has the same aggressive look, but is equipped with a new, highly ventilated design and the Fluid Inside® innovation that protects the head against both linear and rotational forces. Of course, the MVRS system remains.

Fluid inside ®

Fox has stepped back to the MIPS® technology with their motocross helmets. This technology consists of a thin friction layer between the inner lining and the inner shell of the helmet. This friction layer is movable so that the inner lining can move freely from the inner shell of the motocross helmet.                              

Linear impact

Most motocross helmets are designed to protect against skull fractures caused by high linear forces. It is of great importance to also absorb the low linear forces. Thanks to MIPS® both the absorption of high and low linear energy has been improved.

Rotating force

The main cause of concussions are rotational forces. It is therefore of great importance that rotational energies are tackled if a motocross helmet is to be considered safe. MIPS® give the helmet the ability to move in all directions relative to the head and thereby improves the absorption of rotational energy.

• Varizorb™ EPS

The Varizorb™ double density EPS liner works the same as a crumple zone of a car. This lining helps to improve protection by progressively damping the impact forces over a larger surface area.

• CAGE™

Fox has applied for a special patent for the CAGE™ technology. This technology helps improve energy management in the event of impact on and around the chin bar.

• EVOLUTION - Magnetic Visor Release System

The Magnetic Visor Release System (MVRS ™) has been further improved. Previously, the visor was attached to the sides and top with magnets, now the visor is attached to the top with magnets and to the sides with screws that shear off at high force. The result is that the visor now stays in place even better while riding and roost, but comes loose in a crash where rotational forces exert on your head.

With unique shell and EPS sizes you get a lighter helmet, a more streamlined profile and an improved fit for all riders, regardless of the size of the head.

• Multi-composite Technology™

The MCT (Multi Composite Technology) shell construction combines carbon and FRP for a light yet rigid shell.

• Ultra-ventilated design

A system with carefully placed intake and exhaust vents makes the V3 RS Motocross Helmet incredibly airy, even at low speeds.

• Injection molded mesh

Injected mesh vent screens provide great ventilation and at the same time protect against roost and other dirt.

• X-static® comfort lining

Removable, washable X-static ® comfort lining and cheek pads wick moisture quickly and inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria.
