Omni-Directional Suspension™ 6D Motocross Helmet ATR-1:

The patented Omni-Directional Suspension™ (ODS™) system specializes in managing and absorbing kinetic energies. With every crash there is movement, but what is often forgotten is that movement almost always comes with rotation. When there is rotation, the head will experience friction in the helmet which can cause problems. Because there was still no technology on the market where they were taking rotational forces into account, 6D has specially invented the Omni-directional Suspension™. This system consists of hourglass shaped dampers that are between 2 shell layers which can move in any direction (6DoF: Six Degrees of Freedom ). In this way, any form of impact, where energy is exerted on the head, can be maximally absorbed.

• Outer Composite Shell

• Inner EPS Liner
  Painstakingly engineered EPS in-molded to a poly carbonate strengthening shell incorporating the over-molded load distributing cups (which support the ODS technology) make up the inner EPS.

TTP is the time in which the energy reaches its maximum during an impact.
