Protection
The lens is made of injection-molded Plutonite which is the most optically pure lens material ever used for MX goggles, and it’s insanely tough. Oakley Plutonite is the same ultra-tough material that protects the eyes of soldiers. It is literally a shield for the eyes. The new noseguard offers extra protection for the face.
Prizm lens
The Frontline MX is also available with the special Prizm lens. This lens is very unique because of its precise color filtering which helps you pick up fast lines, identify differences in dirt texture for traction control and see deeper into ruts where the shadows live. Prizm™ MX lenses are engineered to perform under a wide range of light conditions.
Lenses
There are several lenses available for the Oakley Frontline MX including normal lenses, grey lenses, dual-clear lenses to prevent fog, Prizm lenses and Prizm Iridium lenses that reduce glare. Lenses are quick and easy to replace thanks to Oakley’s RidgeLock Technology.
Roll-off / Tear-off
The Frontline MX is also available in roll-off. Besides roll-off there are also laminated tear-offs available, this to reduce thickness of the tear-offs and prevent blurred vision. The roll-off and tear-offs provide perfect visibility during bad weather conditions.
Improvements
The noseguard is an improvement on what the Airbrake missed and offers more protection. The noseguard can be removed and replaced. Compared the other goggles, the Frontline MX has an even wider field of view thanks to its frameless design.
